Content: Finally taking up Minako on her offer.

Going to Times Square for New Years had been fun, just as Minako had promised, but both of them acted just awkward enough after their last conversation that they'd managed to do little more than make pointless small talk.
Gaku hated that. It was like forcing friendship when both of them knew something was wrong. Alto had told him more than once he needed to get over himself and stop being so damned closed off all the time, but of course that meant actually opening up to people who weren't his sister, or Alto himself.
Some how, after a few days of giving it a lot of thought and mulling quietly over his own feelings, this brought him to the student dorms, namely Minako's. He hesitated, balanced awkwardly with one crutch, foot still in a cast but his arm in a brace and a sling.
After a moment, he knocked, some part of him hoping that maybe, just maybe, she might not be there.
