Holly J wiped down the last few tables quickly. Business was running a bit slow at the moment and only a few people were here. They all had their food so she didn't need to bug them right now. And she couldn't serve drinks so that was on the boss. It was usually slow this time of day which is why she asked Harry to meet her right now, figuring it would be the same as any other day. She put her apron behind the counter and two plates of food and moved over to a booth out of the way, quiet place to talk.
She had no idea what Harry liked on his burger so she guessed. It had lettuce, onions, tomato, no cheese. Cheese would be a harder fix to remove than anything else. If he was really picky she could add anything to his burger really, and the condiments were nearby so while they weren't added yet they were in easy reach. If it wasn't for the fact that this topic was really bugging her and he was the only person to talk to she wouldn't bother so much. He wasn't here yet, so she sighed, stared at her burger, and waited.
...Then she got bored waiting, got up, and served herself a soda. Harry can handle a root beer and enjoy it, so she grabbed one of those too. Where the hell is he anyway, it wasn't a thought that was needed yet, he wasn't even technically late. Or anything approaching late, just another sign Holly J was getting to herself. The idea of people leaving her waiting was annoying her again.
