Between what had happened with Eliza and the kidnappings and general uproar at the school, Roderich had been spending a good bit of time in the music room lately. Almost every night, if someone was to walk by the music room they would hear music. Sometimes people would stop in the doorway to listen, but for the most part he was left alone, and for the most part he didn't mind. As much as he liked company, the last few days had been ones he had wanted to spend alone. He thought better that way.

Tonight was, to all appearances, exactly the same. Roderich sat on the bench in front of the (just barely rescued) piano, eyes half lidded as he played. Something to soothe himself, something to let his mind wander in directions that weren't stressful, that let himself relax. Not that it was particularly easy right now, but the music helped. The music always helped. But for once, the music wasn't helping as much as it might and he paused, head bowed and hands resting on the keys, though whether he was pausing to collect himself or for some other reason was difficult to determine.

[ooc: What is he playing you might ask? This.]
