Content: Cessily arrives on campus.

Cessily stepped out of the taxi, looking up at the Xavier Institute with a bit of trepidation, even as she shouldered her backpack and took the two other bags she'd brought with her (luckily one was a rolling suitcase, or she wasn't sure she'd be able to carry everything). The driver seemed happy to leave as soon as she paid him--had been uncertain about her the entire trip from the airport, really. But that was okay, she didn't mind. She could find friends here, she hoped.
She wished her parents would have made the trip with her, but she knew very well they would never have gone out in public with her like this. Maybe here they could teach her how to look normal. If she did that, her parents would be able to spend time with her again. Hopefully.
Making sure she had all her bags, she began the walk toward the building and through the courtyard. Here there would be lots of mutants like her, so maybe she wouldn't be so weird.
She couldn't help but still feel nervous.
