[He walks over and stretches up, rearing back a bit. He barely bigger than a horse but certain long and his wings spread like that make him look a lot larger. It's not often he's full size]

[Steps back a bit when Ruth approaches her and holds her hands up.]
Oh god, what am I suppose to do. I ain't no frickin' dragon whisperer.

[But he seemed to be scaring her--and a small dragon like him shouldn't be scaring anyone--so he flipped his wings back neatly, letting a shower of snow flutter up around them and gave her the best impression of a smile one can give with a dragon snout and whirling green eyes]

Oh great. There goes my plans for staying dry for the day...
[Ah dammit. Even a heartless animal hater like herself couldn't help finding that attempt of a smile cute. So she gives him a tiny grin back.]
You got a name, or something?

[Name. Giselle had typed it out one day and he was constantly being tutored in how to spell things and he could do this!]
[He reached out and swept a patch of snow smooth with his wing, carefully angling it not to get snow on her again and wrote out R U T H in wobbly letters with his front claws]
[He inspected it with pride and his green eyes whirled a little faster]

Woah, man. A dragon that can write. Now that's something you don't see everyday.
[Her grins grows a bit wider as she extends out her hand. Hey if he can write, why wouldn't shake hands.]
Nice to meetcha, Ruth. I'm Liz.

[Instead he bowed his head slowly and peered at her quite intently, whirling green and blue, fast]
