Content: Mousegirl could use some cheering up! Even though she herself doesn't understand it, Mickey leaving has begun to stir up some old memories...

She sat just under the window, so that the light could pour in on top of her. Not only did it make reading easier, but it was a requirement for her powers - she needed to absorb pure light in order to use it later. She sat in a comfy little chair, eyes downward on a book of fairy tales. Yet as she scanned the same words over and over, she just wasn't able to read them. Her mind was elsewhere.
Why had seeing Mickey Mouse leave created such pain for her? Why had seeing that 'Gummi Ship' go into the sky cause her eyes to fill with tears? Not only that, but the entire ordeal had felt so familiar... that she had seen someone important to her leave, for a good cause, and filling her with pain all over again. She could recall, ever so faintly, in the back of her mind, a time when she had wanted someone not to leave... yet had kept those words inside of her, not wanting to be selfish.
Please don't go! Don't leave me! Stay here, where you'll be safe! I don't know what to do without you! I need you! Please!
She sucked in a breath, and felt her eyes become hot with tears.She shut her eyes, forcing herself to calm down, and, ever so slowly, turned the page in her book.
