It isn't Christmas without an elf [ACTIVE/CLOSED]

Apr 02, 2010 20:42

Characters: James T. Kirk (universal_charm ) & Spock Greyson (logical_truth )
Location: Starting in the main foyer, but moving across the grounds and potentially into the city
Time: shortly after Kirk's intro post
Content: Despite having a tiff over the internets, Kirk decides to make Spock pay him back for being a meany by being his guide (like Kirk was for a week in military school).
Format: Prose, comment, whichever one we decide once this gets started?
Warnings: Um, none really, except Kirk being a biiiity of a potty mouth if he and Spock start another tiff

Kirk reclined in one of the to fancy chairs in the Institute's foyer, legs crossed and hands steepled. If he had a shred of Italian in him you might call him a mafia boss from the way he sat, and his grin rivaled the Cheshire Cat's. Clearly someone was having a good day, or if not something good was about to happen.

And if you called revenge a good thing, then yeah, the latter was true. He still recalled that week in military Academy babysitting Spock - and yes, it was babysitting. There was no other word. Some Ambassador's kid, who had no idea how to properly assimilate into the private or military sector among people his own age, and talked like he was a walking encyclopedia. It was all he could do not to shoot Spock's tongue off for all the snide comments, little sniffs when he corrected his statements, and his haughtiness in general. Damn Vulcans. He'd needed some serious R&R once that elf had finally left.

But it seemed God was forgiving, or maybe Karma wasn't such a cruel thing after all. It had delivered Spock to him, and after a bit of goading he'd given the tradition bound Vulcan not much more choice but to acquiesce to his request after that nasty little insult. Seemed Spock wasn't as controlled as he seemed.

This could be fun.
