[Tim stopped shooting off potato cannons thoughtfully, eying the potato cannon in his hand thoughtfully. What if he could combine the best of both the dry ice ones and the hair spray ones? More power, that was what! He began tinkering]

[He doesn't notice the students still playing with the potato guns until he finishes his experiment, dropping a full can of hairspray into the bottom of the barrel, then adding a potato. Tim aimed the gun, then grunted loudly as he pulled the trigger]

FWOOM!!!

[Dry ice plus hairspray equals fire? Or did Tim have some pyrokinesis in him?]

[Regardless, Roy reached towards the flames, wrestling control over the crazed blaze that wanted desperately to keep going. He then snuffed them out with a thought.]

[ John watches Roy get everything under control for a minute, then nonchalantly makes his way over. He's doing his best to project an air of causal authority and 'someone is in trouble'. Although in reality he is totally amused and doesn't really care. ]

Mr Taylor, isn't it? I don't know about you, but where I'm from this might be considered a little dangerous.

[Roy doesn't say anything, just sort of waves a hand, face sort of bored. It's a silent gesture of "You're welcome for putting you out."]

[However, he's inwardly pleased that Tim does still have that strange ability to set things on fire using whatever's on hand. Yes, he might just have to ask Tim to guest lecture once in a while...either that or show Tool Time re-runs in class.]

[Spock picked up some of the debris once it looked like it had cooled. He then looked up at the other guy. Finally, someone sensible.]

I suggest we work with something more engineered next time. [Because knowing Tim, there would be a next time.]

[turns to John and coughs. Maybe he did get a little smoke in his lungs.] Dangerous? It was just a little shop accident. Happens all the time!

[coughs some more, and seems to not notice the fact that his skin's a little heat blistered, waves at Roy before turning to Spock, sounding excited] You think we should have a next time? Great! I knew you kids would like it!

[Something resembling a soft snort comes from Roy's direction at the paperwork statement. However, whether or not he is its source is up for debate. His face is serious, merely raising an eyebrow in John's direction at the exchanged look.]

[He turns to Tim, nodding towards the blistered skin.] You have a burn kit? I can fix that up for you.

[There are actually sensible adults at this school. Spock is relieved. He crosses his arms in front of his chest.] Like is a strong word.

Perhaps you should go to the infirmary? [Not that he's questioning Roy's abilities, but the infirmary would probably more suited to... Tim's needs.]
