Content: After yet another talk with Alto, Gaku is feeling distracted and depressed. Not the best conditions to go driving in, especially during the winter...
Format: Whatever you feel like. Using third person prose for the accident.

It gets around when someone almost kicks the bucket. Information gets passed around loosely even when someone simply face-planted or more extremely... got in a car accident. The only thing the eavesdropper paid attention to was the victim. Gaku, he remembered, was someone he had to get reintroduced to twice. Ugh, his memory was a true embarrassment. So when the man managed to find his way back from town, get himself treated to an injury, he took another trip to the florist. Yes, Waka was a busy man, but he wouldn't limit himself to just his dormitory.

Plus, he felt bad forgetting who was last time.

"I'm hoping your aren't allergic to flowers?~"

Waka invited himself in with a bouquet of purple of purple verbena. There wasn't any special meaning to it, his just thought it matched his hair.

Gaku roused with a dry, kind of squeaky yawn, stretching as much as his aching injuries would let him.

"Mm... Waka. Hi. No, I'm not. Thank you," he said with a tired smile.

Noticing the yawn, Waka chuckled to himself quietly. Poor guy. Setting down the boutquet nearby, he calmly walked over, sure that he would appreciate not anymore excitement.

"Sorry, did I interrupt your rest?"

"Nah..." Gaku mumbled, shaking his head a bit. "All I can really do is sleep right now."

"Ah~ How fun." Waka sighed, not really liking the idea of just plainly sitting around. How boring. But honestly, what could you do with broken limbs?

Still, Waka would be one to crawl if he had to. He limped over with a chair dragging behind him.
"So, the flowers are an apology for, um... forgetting who you were the other day and... you know.

"Yeah, no need to explain what happened to you." Gaku must have explained to visitors many, many times...

Gaku wasn't much for just sitting around either, but he really didn't have much of a choice.

"Ah? ... you didn't need to do that. It happens. I'm probably not the most memorable person in the world."

"Ah, I'm sure you are, especially with that hair of yours~" He grinned. It was certainly a color he hadn't seen before, and beautiful.

"So you're part of security, right?" He asked ever-so casually. The fact he hadn't known Gaku that well rubbed Waka the wrong way.

He'd never honestly given it much thought. The only time it really bothered him was when he was trying to find work in Japan long before ever winding up with Vocaloid.

"Yes. I've only been here a couple of months, though."

[ushiwaka_laka]

"Eh?~ Only been here for a while too?"

Good, something to relate to. Still, there was a difference between Waka and Gaku. He was likely to know more about New York than he ever could. It took a few hours just to get back here...

"Got a bit family here though, don'tcha?" Something he honestly could be slightly, just slightly jealous of.

"A bit," Gaku answered with a faint smile. It faded quickly, though. "I scared them..."

His eyes widened with surprise. His spirit broke so suddenly!

"How did you manage to do that?" Gaku sitting there didn't seem really threatening.

"The accident... Gumi was scared she'd lost me again..." Gaku answered rather cryptically.

[ushiwaka_laka]

"Oh. Sorry." He quickly apologized. Waka could have assumed that, but of course, he didn't. Great.~

"Well... At least she can be relieved that you are alright. As strange as it is, these events only strengthen their love and appreciation for you," Waka attempted to lighten the situation.

"I don't like seeing her cry..." Gaku sighed. He knew she was still upset from it, acting distant and being quiet rather than her usual bouncy, hyperactive self. And it was difficult to not let the blame rest solely on his shoulders.

Waka sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. Oh boy.

"You worry so much. You should really concern yourself with making her happy, you know?" He offered a small smile.

"Why not?" Gaku asked, a little surprised that anyone would suggest that. "She's the only family I've got left... we already spent nearly eight years thinking the other was dead..."
