Content: After yet another talk with Alto, Gaku is feeling distracted and depressed. Not the best conditions to go driving in, especially during the winter...
Format: Whatever you feel like. Using third person prose for the accident.

This is Sheppard, sitting slumped in a chair by your bed with his arms crossed and an extremely cynical expression on his face as he waits for you to wake up again. He has no idea what actually happened, but he's pretty annoyed because he's guessing it was stupid and avoidable.

Stupid, yes. Avoidable? Depends on who you ask.

But at least he does eventually wake up.

"... do I even want to ask why you're glaring at me like an angry father?"

"Well, I was pretty sure we had the whole talk about... you not getting sick, not giving me more work to do." He gestures vaguely at your state. "What happened?"

[zerosamurai]

Gaku wiggles the fingers on his arm with the cast. Ow. Not a pleasant feeling.

"... this counts as getting sick?" he grumbles. Yes, avoiding the question now.

Cynicism up a notch.

"Well, you aren't exactly fit to work." He gestures nonchalantly. "Unless you want me to tie you to a few skateboards and remote control cars and send you round the grounds."

[zerosamurai]

"I could do it by wheel chair..."

He lets out a resigned sigh.

"I don't remember what happened..."

Ok, now we're getting somewhere. He leans forward and laces his hands together thoughtfully. "At all?"

[zerosamurai]

"I just... went for a drive in to town. I was coming back, decided to change music... I guess I reached for my player and..."

That's where it went blank. Headlights and a honking horn and then nothing.

"I think I woke up long enough to hear sirens but that's the last thing I can remember."

Ok, well... that doesn't sound good.

"Tired? While you driving, I mean."

[zerosamurai]

"Mm...mhmn," Gaku shakes his head, wondering if it's even worth mentioning what was going on before he left.

[fairerthandeath]

"Something happen?" It's a fishing question. He's pretty sure something did, he doesn't believe you'd just crash randomly. But hey, he started with the mean approach, he can try nice for a while.

[zerosamurai]

"... kinda," he mumbles. He knew he'd been distracted by it, and a little voice in his nagging conscious is saying he shouldn't have been driving like that. He's been trying to ignore it and so far, not doing a great job of it.

Ok, never mind, cynicism is back.

"Not really concentrating?"

[zerosamurai]

"I don't know, maybe!"

Yes, he's being difficult. And acting quite a lot like a petulant teenager (despite being, you know, in his early twenties) but in his defense he is tired, sore, and pretty damn mangled.

"What's with the twenty questions? It's not like I did this on purpose."

"Well, I just figured I should know why a member of my security team might go and do something stupid like crash their car."

Defensive and tired, meet annoyed and tired.

[zerosamurai]

"Because I obviously woke up this morning, decided "Hey, let's try to get between my stubborn sister and an equally annoyed Alto and whatever problems they're still having", watch it fail due to my own annoyance, get stupidly mopey over it and go wreck my brand new Charger out of pure spite."

Annoyed and tired meet pissed off sarcasm.
