[ the promised seat is indeed there, next to Kairi and guarded by the time-honoured tradition of draping her jacket over the seat. There are other bags scattered around that carefully-nabbed section of table, but quite a few chairs are apparently going spare. ]

Xion! [ half-stands to wave her over ]

[Xion smiles slightly and walks over, nodding her head in greeting.]

Hello, Kairi.

Glad you could make it. [ tugs her jacket back onto her lap so she can sit down ]

Did you have a good day?

[She sits next to her, still timid but getting used to Kairi even though the looking alike still is really weird.]

It was alright. What about you?

[Kairi, for her part, has gotten used to Xion wearing her hood up. At some point she'll ask why, but not whilst they're surrounded by people.]

Well, let's see. Nothing to report from English, but Mr. Curry brought a baby otter to Biology! That was fun.

[seeing a couple of familiar faces, Mickey heads over to their table--he wants to check in on Kairi, and of course he knows Xion from Control class] Hello, Kairi, Xion! How are you two this evening?

*rudely interrupts*

[So, who is this hooded person going near Kairi? This is worth investigating. Instead of eating in the teachers lounge, Minnie just grabs the first food she finds and sits close by, with her back to the group. She tries to listen in, and might occasionally turn her head to look if she can get away with it. Fail!Spy is fail.]

[before she can ask what a baby otter is like, Mickey shows up! she nods her head at Mickey's approach] Hello.

Mickey, Mr. Curry brought a baby otter to class. [this clearly bears repeating]

Gosh, a baby otter? Was it cute?

[seeing a black-haired young woman nearby staring at them rather conspicuously, Mickey waves cheerfully]

[Aww, sea otters? How ador - NO, PAY ATTENTION. This could be hidden, vital information, and -

... And we've been found out. Uh. Damn. W-waves back, blushing deeply, and resumes eating as if she hadn't even noticed them at all.]

[Xion was trained in very Organization-y things (read: things that would be useful in a gang setting), but in her short time with them she had never been very good at recon. Still, even she could tell that they were being stared at, if given a few moments. She glances around at Minnie with a pretty neutral expression before turning back to Kairi and Mickey. Because she wants to hear about the otter too.]

It was really cute. [she wants to turn and look at whoever's caught the attention of the others, so after a brief explanation of the otter and its tales of play-hunting, sleeping and generally just being a baby mammal - and the questions posed to it by Levitas, the class's dragon student - she folds to curiosity and does so.]

[and recognises Minnie from a number of 'chance' encounters. She smiles a little, and turns back to the conversation.]

[Mickey doesn't mind being watched] Aw, I wish I coulda seen it. Reminds me of when Chip and Dale were young. [--but that's getting a little too close to thinking about Disney Castle]

[Spying resuming! So that's another class of Kairi's, is it? As discreetly as she can make it, which isn't that much, she pulls out a pen hidden under her plate, and quickly begins to jot down on her napkin - Kairi, Levitas, the class...

... But stops for a moment at the mention of Chip and Dale. Just... frowns, touching her head for a moment. Was it her imagination, or did those sound familiar?]

[She glances back at Minnie for a moment (what is she doing?) but is a little distracted by the sea otter conversation. Even though it's mostly Mickey and Kairi conversing and Xion listening.]
