Characters: Gakupo and YOU Location: Gaku's room (after he gets back inside) Time: Morning Content: Gaku is bringing a new addition to the Vocaloid family Warnings: Nupe!~
As promised, Gumi had arrived at his room as soon as she could. She didn't even bother knocking on her brother's door, just letting herself in and shutting the door behind her. She leaned against the door for a few moments, breathing heavily, before looking at her brother and raising a hand with a grin.
Gaku was fiddling with an eye drop bottle, trying to get some milk in to it with the cap off but making more a mess of things than anything when Gumi came in. The little kitten was wiggling and stumbling about in his makeshift towel bed that was still on top of Gaku's bed covers, crying and mewing with a lot more strength and sound than would have been thought possible from such a weak creature.
Looking up, he frowned a little, hair and clothes still damp from his time outside.
Gumi's smile became a frown, and she made her way over to the bed, lifting up the little bundle, towels and all, and trying to calm him down.
Easier said than done, though, and she winced as one of the kitty's claws slashed her neck a bit.
She paid it no mind, though, and just continued trying to pet it.
"Poor baby ... and yet, he's still here fighting it out ..." She smiled, a smile both fond and sad.
"He's like us, Onii-sama."
Of course, speaking of Onii-sama ...
"Okay, you. YOU. As soon as you're finished with that, you're changing into warmer clothes. Possibly taking a hot shower. I'll take care of the little guy until you're done. If you stay like that much longer, you're going to get yourself sick."
Too late. Gaku's reply became a harsh cough that caused more of the milk to spill. Grumbling, he waited for it to pass before finishing and screwing the cap back on, handing it to Gumi.
"It needs formula, but all we've got is milk right now..." he said with a sigh, feeling bad about continuing to call the kitten 'it', but they needed to know a gender before even giving it a name.
Standing, he went for his closet and dragged out one of his own towels, drying off his hair first. Gumi of course had no idea right then that he'd been out in the cold for almost an hour, with twenty to thirty minutes of that spent with the kitten in the snow.
"It's definitely tough... and it might take a while before it trusts anyone completely. But I wasn't about the leave the little thing out there..."
It's not exactly what he expected to be doing as chief of security, but apparently protecting the institutes inhabitants now included kittens. Besides, he was getting tired of being trapped in his office. He shoulders your door the rest of the way open and peers round the corner.

Gaku had managed to get away from the kitten long enough to change, but for being abandoned, the little thing had a lot of energy. It was currently on it's side, chewing (well, gumming mostly) on the towel with it's little arms wrapped around the cloth. Occasionally it would roll over to bat at Gaku's foot before going back to the towel.
"I guess so," he laughed, looking up at the door with a smile, "Tough little thing... hasn't stopped playing since I got it in here."
It was a carefully orchestrated crash!fairerthandeathMarch 15 2010, 00:14:29 UTC
He watches it a moment with faint amusement.
"Pretty active for something so young, I guess it's a fighter." He glances up at you a second, then makes his way the rest of the way over and crouches down to inspect it. "Are we dealing with a Betty or a Bob...?"
Far be it for Seishirou to be tardy in most things, it hardly took him fifteen minutes to gather up what he deemed necessary and whisk down the halls of the Institute to find Gaku's room. A glance at the number determined he was at the correct one, but unlike most individuals at the school, Seishirou had been raised to at least give off the impression of manners. And so he stopped beyond the threshold of the room, one hand rested on the shoulder bag he'd brought with him and the other lifting to wrap his knuckles against the door, that small smile lingering permanently on his lips.
By the time Seishirou arrived, Gaku was having a bit of a problem. For such a weak little thing, the kitten was an absolute handful. It had decided after resting a little that it was time for exploration. Namely, attempting to climb the curtains.
Gaku was trying to very carefully pry his little claws from the fabric without inadvertently hurting him, but it was easier said than done.
The door squeaked open as Seishirou stuck his head in, eyes mapping out the room before finally settling on Gaku and his kitten. He chuckled light heartedly and stepped into the room. "It looks like you have your hands full," It could have been a carol if his tone wasn't so warm, hand soft on the top of his bag. He stepped over to the curtain with a charming "May I?" before reaching in around Gaku's fingers, gently but purposefully prying the cat with practiced hands from the fabric.
"I had a feeling I might," Gaku chuckled sheepishly, moving back to Seishirou could try his hand at getting the little guy off the curtain. Kenji protested with a quiet mewl, but finally let go.

Sitting up, Gaku pushed the kitten over with his finger.
"Hm. Looks like it's a boy. I think I can do a better name than 'Bob', though. No offense."
