Content: Axel is bored in the base and wants to irritate someone. COME BE THAT PERSON.

Not being in the base for months had obviously made him forget just how damp the air was here. It wasn't noticeable to anyone else--like going outside after it had rained or early morning when the dew was still thick on the ground--but Axel could notice it. It wasn't even limiting to his powers (not that he was allowed to use them much in here as fire used up too much oxygen and produced gases that in a contained space probably weren't the best thing to be producing) but it was there, and it was irritating him.
Maybe it was the fact that he was back here after all that time in the Institute--the fact that he wasn't doing much of anything--that was making him go a little stir crazy, and making the moisture content in the air grind on his nerves that extra little bit. He was itching to go out on a mission, but there weren't any for him right now, so he would have to make do with mingling and introducing himself to the new members, and reacquainting himself with older ones (and there was that dragon that he'd heard about that he'd have to check out at SOME point).
So with a somewhat irritated sigh, Axel wandered into the rec room and sought out a free couch, flopping down into it.
