Fletcher was slowly becoming acclimated to the environment, even if it still made him uncomfortable. This morning he'd actually managed not to wake up in a panic over being in a strange place. He still didn't feel as though he fit in, though; everyone here seemed to have grandiose goals and plans, even Russel, but all Fletcher wanted to do was his schoolwork.
So he did.
He found a spare table in one of the rec rooms and brought with him his schoolbooks and notebooks, stacking them up on the table next to where he was working. He took his math book, opened it up to the next chapter, and set to work reading up on multiplying and dividing fractions. His math notebook was open next to the textbook, ready for the practice problems that would come in a few pages.
