Remus hadn't expected to be invited to a party. He didn't really know Enjolras, but Courfeyrac had invited him. He straightend his tie and knocked on the door frame. "I think I'm early?" He questioned, holding an old bottle of Merlot up.

Cournfeyrac bounced over to the door and opened it. "Ah, Remus! Yes, you are. Enjolras hasn't even arrived yet. Come in though- oh you brought wine? You didn't have to do that!"

"I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to do it. I figured since you went through all of this. Plus, it's Enjolras' birthday. What better present than alcohol?" Remus chuckles a bit as he enters the room.

"I shall force him to appreciate it," Courfeyrac announced grandly. "He is severe in his pleasures, but I think anyone can appreciate a good bottle of wine. Particularly this one. Can I get you an aperitif?" He zoomed over to the side table. "We have port and muscat."

"Port would be lovely." He said walking around the table. "So we need to schedule that walk into town before it gets too cold."

Remus was quite relaxed and he did like Courfeyrac. He was a typical French guy, but Remus was amused. Besides any lover of tea was a friend of Remus. He only wondered if Courfeyrac liked chocolate.

[ooc; Oh, we do need to start up a thread for that. Shall we do it soon?]

"Port it is!" Courfeyrac poured Remus a glass and handed it over. "That we do! We can go this weekend if you like? I'm mostly moved in, or at least at the point where I am willing to say I am and pretend everything has been taken out of their boxes."

He grinned. "I still have boxes in my closet... and I've been here, what... a month?" Remus sat back and thought. Wow, time really does fly.

"Ah, there we go," said Courfeyrac. "I knew I would find an excuse to push packing to the side. How kind of you to provide it for me!"

Remus chuckles. "Well, if you ever need any excuses to procrastinate, I am your man. There's always something to do." He says as he goes over to the port bottle.

"You really are far too kind," said Courfeyrac, pushing the bottle towards Remus. "So... perhaps this Saturday afternoon? Does that work for you?"

Remus takes the bottle and nods. "Yeah, that's perfect. I have nothing planned this weekend." Remus says and pours the port into two glasses. "I'm not really being kind - it's just easy to get lost here, and at the same time it is easy to become busy. It's all about the company you keep."

"It's very British, this modesty of yours," Courfeyrac replied, playfully wagging a finger at Remus. "I shall have to break you out of the habit. I don't know the town at all, is there a landmark where we can meet, or shall we just meet in front of the school at, say, one-thirty?

"Breaking me of being modestly British is going to be like breaking you of being charmingly French. But by all means, you can try." Remus said smirking.

Thinking of the town, he shrugged a bit. "It's by the square. A block over, but if you prefer that we meet here, that is fine with me."

Not that Remus is a pushover or shy, by any means. He's just rather agreeable. For most things, he tends to sit back and let things happen. It causes less stress.
