[Spin was wandering in the area when he caught ear of the melody. It's a very pretty tune, and he of course has to stop and listen. He can't help but wonder for a moment just how many Japanese singers are in the school.]

[She's in Vocal class, isn't she? Spin doesn't want to interrupt, but he is enjoying listening, so he stops to take in the melody. He doesn't know if she really wants spectators, so he keeps a bit back.]

[She'd grown up to be fluent in both English and Japanese at her brother's instance. Not that she minded as saturday school was where she'd made most of her friends over the years after all.]

[The song ends and she turns, having sensed something else present no tlong after he'd arrived. Turning she offered him a shy smile, cheeks flushed slightly whether from embarrassment or the weather was unknown.]

Oh. You're Spin right? You're in some of my classes I think.

It's cool, I realized I made it a little hard.

[Ahh, he'd been noticed so easily. He couldn't be sure if she was more embarrassed than him, but he offered a small smile.]

Ah, yeah, that's me. And, um, you're Ranka, aren't you? Um, the music, it was... it was good. Sorry for eavesdropping, though.

And I've just been really slow at tags right now.

[She smiled back, the surprise out of the way it didn't bother her so much really.]

That's right. I'm Ranka, Ranka Lee we haven't really gotten to talk much before now. You think so? I'm glad you liked it. What? Oh no! You don't need to apologize! It's not uncommon for people to come down to the lake after all.

Ahh, I guess you're right. Heh... [he shifts his headphones] Ahh, are you, like... are you a singer? I mean, outside of class, or...? [His thought process has been affected by seeing the vocaloids and others.

There's so many people here. I guess it's easy to fall in the cracks sometimes huh? At least it feels that way sometimes.

[She fidgets a little then, cheeks flushing slightly.] Me? A singer? Oh no... well not really.

Ha, yeah, with such a big place... and a lot of big personalities to get caught up in, too...

[Ohhh boy he probably just managed to make the conversation more awkward than it really needed to be.] Oh--I, er, well. Well, you're very good. [Awkward pause while he tries to think of something less lame to say.] ...Thank you for sharing. [That was not it.]

It's still really nice here, I'm glad that I could talk my brother into letting me come.

[Praise is something that's almost always awkward to take, but she manages to smile slightly despite the color on her cheeks.] Thanks. I really like singing, it's always been the best way to express myself.

I... [Yeah her blush had been fading but now it was back in full force.] Thanks.

[He's really not sure how to respond to some of that. There's a pause of fiddling with his headphones while he tries to figure if he should just. Leave, before this gets worse.]

[Nope, she mentioned how cool music is.] Ah--yeah, it's... I mean, that's why I joined Vocal, I've just sort of... been getting into music lately, and it's... really amazing how much a difference it makes in getting stuff out, you know?

[They'd just leave that awkward area behind then.]

Sometimes, when I think there's no way to express how I'm feeling, music proves me wrong. It's... unbelievable really.

I know, right? I mean... really, before I got here, I didn't listen to music much at all, and, I've just been learning how much a difference it really makes in keeping confident and all that. I'm really glad there's so much musical stuff going on around here.

You didn't listen to music much?

[The idea is a shocking one for Ranka as her life has always had music in it to some level for as long as she can remember.]

I hadn't realized how much of a difference music makes in my outlook until I tried to stop singing. It... it really does make a big difference.
