A long and rather forlorn sigh escaped the lanky youth sat beside the lake watching the water placidly seeping against the pebbles. So far he'd managed to short circuit three computers, given himself a static afro four times in a row, and fallen down the stairs more times than he cared to remember, but despite that he'd managed to accomplish one small victory; he hadn't managed to hurt anyone else by accident yet.

Unfortunately this also meant that he didn't actually know anyone yet, so to speak; his tactic for avoiding managing to electrify his peers simply being to avoid them. This was a good thing though- as long as he kept his distance it would be alright, he didn't mind being alone, it prevented awkward things like having to maintain conversation, remember people's interests, spend money on evenings out...

He flicked a pebble into the shallows, receiving a splash in the face, the spots of water darkening the white areas of his cow-patterned shirt to a skin-tinged grey. He pulled a rye face at the cold empty expanse of water.

"Gracious, but I'm bored..."
