Characters: Soubi, Ritsuka Time: Around or just before curfew Location: B43 Content: Kidnapping for purposes of cute fuzzies and sleeping! Format: Third Warnings: None
Ritsuka was waiting for Soubi to show up, looking over some piece of homework or other. He didn't want to get caught breaking the rules, but when it came down to it, he just slept better around Soubi. The teachers could say what they liked about the two of them sleeping in the same room- nothing indecent was happening!- and it made both of their lives easier. Ritsuka was considering just out-and-out asking for a switch, since Soubi's roommate appeared to be nonexistant. It would eliminate all of this sneaking about they were doing, to boot.
Ritsuka all but launched off of his bed at the knock, grabbing his bag and smiling up at the blond. "We really need to ask if we can just trade rooms. It doesn't seem unreasonable." And, after all, it wasn't like they were revealing anything that simply observing the two of them together wouldn't reveal.
Soubi smiled softly. It looked like he knew his master too well. Though 'too well' was never the words he'd use - how could it be possible to know someone like Ritsuka too well?
"Aa. My roommate doesn't seem to want to use the room at all." That said, he bent over a little, brushing Ritsuka's fringe away and pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. He'd missed his little master.
"That's good... I think." Ritsuka wondered what Soubi's roommate was doing, if he wasn't sleeping in the dorm, but then Soubi was distracting him, just a little, with a kiss to his forehead. He'd long since learned to more than tolerate these little expressions of affection.
"Let's go, before curfew actually hits." He didn't want to get caught and get detention for something as silly as going to a room that was less than a stone's throw from his own. He didn't want Soubi to wind up in detention either.
"The teachers won't be around for a while yet," said Soubi, though he was already leading the way back to their room. "But I certainly wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of Fong-san."
The woman in charge of campus security was somewhat overboard if you were thinking mere teenagers... but as far as Soubi was concerned, with the people that could be following after them, that was a very good thing indeed. And besides, mere teenagers couldn't do half the things that these ones did.
"I don't want to get on her bad side either," Ritsuka agreed, trailing behind Soubi. He wasn't sure what to think of a formidable person like her as school security- most of the security at Seven Moons had lacked powers that were physical in nature.
"I'm just glad she seems to be on our side." Curfew aside, none of the staff had done anything, really, to earn their mistrust. Maybe, just maybe, this was a safe place.
Soubi agreed wholeheartedly. It was... comforting not to have the occasional rummaging feel of a psychic who was bored going through your surface thoughts, and not being able to protest in case they demanded a full scan.
He held the door for Ritsuka, smiling fondly at his little master. He didn't care where they were as long as Ritsuka would keep him by his side.
Ritsuka smiled up at Soubi, setting his bookbag down and shuffling over to the bed. "I do like not feeling like I have someone always in my head. I wouldn't mind you reading my mind, but..." Well, the security staff at Seven Moons was not what anyone would have ever called subtle about it.
"Maybe we're actually safe here." That would be... well, nice would be an understatement. It was too soon to really tell, but- nothing had happened to them. Their thoughts were left alone, unless there was a psychic around who did know what the meaning of 'subtle' was, and there weren't any mysterious calls for students to leave- only for them to never return, without any rumors. In fact, in many ways, this school reminded him more of the high schools they'd encountered than of Seven Moons.
"....I hope so," said Soubi, after a moment. He wasn't inclined to say that sort of thing but... Ritsuka had changed him. Sometimes it was okay to be hopeful, if it was for his master.
He shut the door, toeing his slippers off - still a habit, even though he wore shoes to classes - and went to sit on the bed, enjoying the reverse of being able to look up to Ritsuka. Though that too, was changing. He didn't have to look down nearly as far to his master any more.
"Me, too," Ritsuka muttered, sitting down on the bed, next to Soubi. He would have thought- given his luck, and his powers- he might have seen anything sordid in the school's history. Nothing of the sort had happened since he'd arrived here, though- only a flash of that one person's background.
"What are you going as for Halloween?" Talking about heavy things- thinking about heavy things- was probably not the best thing to do before bed, if you wanted to sleep.
"I... hadn't thought about it," he admitted. He'd thought that Ritsuka would want to atend festivites with him, but the concept of costume had completley slipped his mind. "What were you thinking of doing?" he asked, tilting his head a little to one side.
"I haven't thought about it either," Ritsuka confessed with a small smile. "I guess we could look around and see if we get any ideas tomorrow, right?" Ritsuka was having a hard time not yawning. It was time and past for them to be in bed and using it for its intended purpose as a place to sleep.
"Whatever you want," he said. "But we should talk more in the morning," he added, with a slight smile, picking up Ritsuka's hand and pressing a kiss to it gently.
