Content: Pearl decides to distract herself by playing ball

Pearl hugged her ball to her as she walked outside, still sniffing a little. Someone had promised that Mystic Maya would be ok, and Mr. Stark said it was a game, and Harry said that he'd take care of it... but she was still worried. Maya was her only (living) cousin, after all.
She knew it wouldn't help to be upset over it, though, and Mystic Maya wouldn't want that, so she decided to try and distract herself. She hadn't played with her ball at all since she'd gotten her powers because she was afraid that she'd break something else. But she was learning how to be careful with things, and so she had gingerly taken her ball from the little bag she'd brought with her, walking outside to a place where she wouldn't break anything important before gently bouncing and throwing the ball.
