FIRST STAFF MEETING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! (CLOSED)

Content: Someone has organized an unofficial staff meeting. Hijinks staff things will ensue.

Zach had received the note on his office door about the impromptu staff meeting now that the students had arrived. The name at the bottom of the note had been pretty damn illegible, and he'd stared at it for about five minutes before deciding it wasn't worth trying to decipher; he could just ask whoever it was at the meeting, after all. He presumed there must have been another -- more official -- staff meeting before, but he'd managed to arrive later than most of the staff, and hadn't had a chance to really meet many people so far.
Feeling somewhat apprehensive -- this was one of those situations in which he always seemed to conduct himself wrong or awkwardly -- and still unfamiliar with the mansion's layout, he ended up arriving at the staff room (he double checked the door twice just to make sure that was where he really was) before anyone else -- even the organizer of the meeting. Zach checked his watch. Well, it was only 8:51am, and the note had said 9. Setting up a pot of coffee to drip steadily while he waited, for the other staff members -- people liked it when others did things for them, right? -- and he sat down in a comfortable chair around the table to wait, folding his arms over his chest. As the smell of coffee slowly permeated the morning sluggishness of the room, Zach slid a little lower in the chair out of mild boredom, beginning to look more like a sulky child and less like a brand new teacher, much less one with two doctorates.
