(ooc: So I know I haven't done much with her lately, but assume that Haku HAS been around, just keeping busy enough to not be doing much with the network.

[This right here? Is a very tired looking Haku. And not the normal "lacking sleep" tired. No, she looks like she just barely had enough energy to crawl out of bed and come to the institute fully dressed. She's in a rumpled hoodie, over-sized teeshirt and (though they can't be seen) sweats. Her hair is down, which is abnormal enough on its own without the added details.
Over the sweatshirt, though, there's a sling on her arm and over her shoulder, and the tip of her cast can be seen from beneath the sleeve.]
I don't know if anyone even really noticed... but I didn't make it to my normal shifts the past two days. This [points at the cast with her finger] is why.
There was... an accident at my shop. I was helping one of my workers get an engine in to car when the pulley system snapped. I wound up getting dragged by the chain. It was not fun... several stitches and a bone broken in two places... I'm okay, though. Just... drugged. Horribly. I'm lucky I was awake enough to make it down here for a few hours.
Unfortunately my worker fared worse. He's in the hospital still. He's lucky the engine block didn't kill him, but it almost did...
Anyway... are there any students interested in a little work-study? I could really use some help around the shop. I'll still be there to supervise but I'm going to be out of commission for a while...
Derrick, I'm sorry, I really wanted to play with you again when I got some time away, but... well... [holds up her hand again]
