So I know I've been sort of absent lately, but with a serial killer loose in DC, the FBI asked me to come back to consult with my old team. But now that I am once again back, it's John's birthday coming up. And while I should be the best girl friend... [Wait, did she just use that word? There's a blink and a shake of her head before she continues on.] Umm, I haven't a clue as to what to do. I was thinking maybe we could have a lunch or something, I'll make everything. I think he'd kill me if I threw him a party. But maybe sandwiches and something just so he knows he's appreciated.
We could even go for drinks the Friday after his birthday if that's more laid back. I don't know, I'm just throwing things out there. At least I remembered his birthday.
