Is there anyone who's willing to help a fellow student with homework? I've been in a staring contest with it for a while and I think it's winning.

[Hi Lloyd. This girl doesn't know you but she wants to be helpful anyway.]

What kind of homework?

Uh, we're supposed to be analyzing this book... "Just Like the Sky"?

I didn't get any of it, though.

So I guess that's a no...?

A-ah--...

NO! I mean... no, I know it... I read it when it was released back home...

[and I'm kind of dating the author]

Oh? That's great! Do you understand it well enough to help me out a little?

W-well... its uhm... about love, really. But not that mushy, trashy romance kind of love. Its a deeper kind... the kind you don't have to say to understand...

...?

[Suddenly, a thought.]

Oh! You mean like how with some people, they let their actions towards those they love reflect their feelings for them and stuff...?

Ah... well, yes. There's that... but there's also feelings involved... understanding some one so well you know what they're going to say or do before even they do...

The kind of love that even if the two people couldn't speak to each other for years... it would never fade.

...sweet?

Well, I guess that would make sense if it's about love...

[sorry Lloyd, she was kind of off in her own little world for a minute]

... hm? ... OH! RIGHT. Yes. That's... exactly why.

Huh... so let me see if I have this right. The book mostly discusses love...?

Except not, it's more or less... hmm, how do I say it? More or less deeper than that. The kind of love between two people where you can almost tell immediately whoat they're feeling, both physically and emotionally.

Almost like... empathy?

[That actually sounds pretty smart coming from Lloyd.]

Wow! That actually sounds kinda more... er, meaningful in a way. Almost romantic, too.

Holy crap, I actually got something right.
