I'm in his class. I have to admit, playing badly week is a little...ouch on the ears, but I'm sure he's got a good purpose behind it.

[a chuckle] Yeah, it was rhetorical. We're in the same class, Giselle. I'm sure he's got a reason, but that doesn't make it any easier. When are we gonna learn how to kick some ass on these things?

I think he's probably teaching us what not to do for the week so we'll be aware of all the common mistakes people make.

We can learn by trial and error...it's a chance to learn what sounds really bad, I suppose.

I already know what sounds bad without having to hear everybody doing it at once. But it's fun anyway, so I guess I can't complain.

Maybe he wants us to have something awful to compare our playing to so that when we're not making very quick progress we still know we could sound worse?
