[Maya is sitting on the floor of her dorm, on a big fluffy cushion on the floor. There are lit candles set up around her, and the lighting is dim. She has her hands pressed together like she's meditating.]
The spirits have spoken. And they've given me the wisdom of the the other side...
[She picks up a scroll off the ground, pauses, unfurls it dramatically, and-]

[She sets the poster aside and launches into a speech.]
My name's Maya Fey, and I want to be YOUR student council president! Since I'm a spirit medium, I'm running on a platform of school spirit. I think we can do anything we set our minds to if we just work together and go for it!
[Maya briefly consults the back of her hand, where something is scribbled.]
I believe in giving every student a voice, no matter how involved they are with the school and activities. Every opinion counts! A chicken in every pot and a fire on every barbecue grill! Burgers for all! I want to hear what you want your student council to do for you!
[She grins at the camera and puts her hands back together and adopts another meditative pose.]
So, come election day, channel your votes for Maya Fey-- student council president. For great justice!
[Then she reaches back behind her and hits PLAY on a tape recorder, which blasts this song as the video cuts out.]
