[Cecily's sitting there, her chin on her hand and staring at the webcam. After a moment she pulls up, sighs, and offers a big smile]
I’m not entirely sure I’d like to keep in contact with people through this. While the network does sound lovely and all, I much prefer face-to-face contact. But then I fear that if I use this as my personal journal, where I dictate my day-to-day occurrences and the weather, I will not have anything to publish. This is really rather troublesome. Besides, I’m not entirely sure I’d like for the entire network to be able to read the innermost and private of my thoughts.
I’m sorry, I seem to be rambling. And I do suppose this is the easiest way to go about introducing myself. But first I must inquire! Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching, and I do find that the most romantic of holidays, naturally. Was there, perhaps, anything planned? I have never been to a public school. Nor a private one for that matter, so do forgive the rather unintelligent question.
I do believe a proper introduction is in order, however. How do you do~ I have only just recently arrived. I’m Cecily Cardew and I do look forward to getting to know all of my peers.
