Regarding recent events, I would like to commend all of you on your behaviour during Friday's field trip and its unforeseen hiccup. There could be considerable media attention in the coming week; any press on the grounds should be reported to the nearest teacher so that they may be ejected.
[specifically flagged for all Engineering students:] None of this excuses anyone from the report on the Intrepid due next Tuesday, as there was at least an hour for taking notes before the attack. Blow-by-blow accounts are acceptable, provided there is material relevant to class topics somewhere for marking purposes. Anyone stuck for ideas can write a summary of the repairs necessary to keep the museum afloat. Between 500 and 1000 words will do.
