Did LJ die?

Someone recently told me that "LJ is dead."* I know it's had its problems in the past with mass migrations and whatnot, and although I know I've asked this before (about every couple of years, actually), where do people go to? I refuse to do any of that Twitter nonsense, and MySpace and Facebook are far too annoying for me to deal with, IMHO.

Is everyone RSSing their friends and just forming their own little connections that way, is everyone really only on Twitter and Facebook, or what?

* Which was why I was somewhat surprised to see the half dozen or so of you that responded to yesterday's post.
