I've had a similar experience. For me, I think part of it is that my friending hasn't kept up with the changing landscape. People have left or their interests have changed and my practical friends list has shrunk as a consequence. Myself, I've been too busy to blog the way I want to (or comment), but I'm trying to keep my entries substantial, yea, though they appeal to a tiny, tiny niche audience.

You are one of the people I wish I could "connect" to more, but not being a meme-bearer of that "tiny, tiny niche audience," I often don't feel I have much to contribute to your posts ;-)

Yeah Zeph's great to chat with and I intend to be posting more content, probably on the NI Troubles (biggest understatement even we might as well about the 'mistreatment in Tibet') and critiques of republicanism.
