I was wrong (sorta... well, blowing things outta proportion, at least)
Apparently the furor over the new House and Senate bills has been blown out of proportion, as I've seen many links to more informed updates over the issues (I'm talking specifically about this post). Having seen a few of you who posted this who may or may not have been influenced by seeing it here, I hereby give my apologies for being a bit alarmist.
To avoid this in the future, I will make sure I do more homework before passing memes along. Unless this reversal of my stance toward activism continues, it prolly won't be an issue for me, anyway. Having just done a bit and having this result, I doubt it will continue. And frankly, this is one of the things I absolutely HATE about activism and activists in general: their propensity for blowing things out of proportion, like a bunch of chicken littles.

I guess this post is proof that not only do I make mistakes (despite the rumors to the contrary), but I am quick to apologize when I realize such. Ah, how I wish this were a more common trait amongst my fellow Homo Sapiens!
