Entertainment--TV & Music

Why-come nobody turned me onto "Robot Chicken" before? I love Seth Green, god-bless his short little red-haired genius. I stumbled across this little 9 minute show a few nights ago, and have stumbled across it a few more times since. Funny-assed-shit. Speaking of "cartoons", the new season of South Park starts either this Wed or next--I'll hafta double check. Either way--good times. For nearly a decade I continue to maintain that South Park is the best show on TellaVision, period.

And apparently Comedy Central is putting on a new show starring David Alan Grier, whom I have loved since the cult classic "Amazon Women on the Moon". He is--in my mind--easily one of the top 5 funniest men on the planet. I can't wait to see his new show, "Chocolate News". I LOL just thinking about it.

In other news, it seems that people are trying to tempt me away from my several-year obsession with DJ Tiesto from the Netherlands (isn't that a cool name for a country--the "NetherLands"... it sounds so Goth!)*. IIRC, Ferry Corsten--another incredibly talented DJ--is also from the NetherLands. Fenwick remarked a few nights ago that I should really check out John Digweed, whom I have heard before and am somewhat familiar with, but has never really caught my highly fickle Attention. So I'm going to download some Digweed, and this is the perfect opportunity to tempt me with other great artists. I do love my Progressive music, be it Trance or House.

Suggestions???

* as of this last weekend, I'm completely infatuated with his remix of Guru Josh Projects's mix of "Infinity 2008", which hits so fucking hard and beautifully I can't stand it... you can download it--along with 78 other hours of Tiesto's mixes--on iTunes in the podcasts under the "Tiesto's Club Life", number 72. It's the first song he starts out with.
