Astral Work, pt. 2
As I mentioned recently, I've been thinking I need to branch out and to expand myself Magickally. In particular, I'm thinking of doing some work on the Imaginal REALm. To be honest, I've not specifically worked much on the Astral in almost 2 decades. I've done the occasional Journey, but not much freeform work/play on the Astral, as it were. I feel a bit shaky going back in, particularly for doing any Imaginal work that is "outside" of myself. I feel okay doing work in my Astral Temple/Sanctuary, but venturing out much and doing excessive exploring is not something I've really done much of. And to be honest, I'm on a much different level than I was 10-20 years ago, in all ways, magickally, metaphysically, emotionally, etc. So I'm seeking advice, so that I may filter and apply it from this new, current POV.
I have a few concerns about working on the Imaginal, and at least one of them is to ask how people can tell the difference betwixt "fantasy" & "truth" on the Astral. That was worded a bit off, but I think you know what I'm getting at.
I also haven't decided on what to do, yet. I could go in and re-construct &/or create a new Sanctuary. There are a number of PathWorkings I have available, or I could create my own. But I want to Explore the Astral, but without getting all caught up in some emotionally-charged fiction, if you know what I mean.
Suggestions?
