Crow

Crow has been a constant companion with me throughout my life. I've always felt his presence, particularly when I'm doing "big serious" Magick raising a lot of energy. I've tried to better connect with Crow on several occasions, but I keep getting the feeling that Crow is more interested in Observing my life than taking a more active role in it. I have noticed Crow lending aid numerous times in my life, but in a much more random & aloof manner than, e.g., Mother Bear. I see both Crow & Raven as being close relatives, and have long really appreciated both. I even lived on "Craven" street for several years (one of the better living situations I have experienced in that home, too), which I always saw as a combining of "Crow" & "Raven". It is too bad Ravens are only found in the mountains around here, locally, although I do enjoy my conversations with Raven when I'm in the mountains. It should be noted that historically speaking, I live well north of Coyote's natural range, and Raven is the local historical Trickster up here in the Pacific NW.
