I've seen this "meme" going around recently, and thought this would be a good exercise to combat the usual negative self-talk about my body. This post also fits in perfectly with my Operation 4 Health:
1. I love my Voice. I always wanted lots of things for my Voice, including the ability to hit low bass notes, do impersonations, etc. I've done vocal work via singing, MCing & DJing, NLP, etc., my whole life. My reliance upon my voice makes it very challenging to communicate via online text to clearly communicate my message precisely because I rely on my Voice so much. If you haven't met me in person, you've sadly missed out ;-)
2. I love my Hair. I think it's my most attractive physical characteristic, and I've been vain about it my whole life. I've got great Hair, what can I say?
3. I love my Eyes. I love not only that they are a really light blue, but also that they have actually healed themselves at least once in 7th grade when I "needed" glasses. I only had to get reading glasses again less than a year ago (no success so far in healing them again).
4. I love my Height. I am exactly 6' tall, which was the Height I always wanted to be when I was a kid.
5. I love my Arms. They are long, and over the course of my life, have become quite nimble. I can do some pretty sweet things on the dance floor with my Arms, which makes them more like "connectors to my hands", not unlike tentacles (minus the slime).
6. I love my Hands. They are actually a bit small for most men 6' tall, but I absolutely love the intricacies that Mother Nature had to stumble into to get me Hands. Opposable thumbs rule!
7. I love my Skin. For all the crap I give my Skin, it is the primary receptor for Kinesthetic sensations. My Skin also contributes immensely to my youthful boyish charm & good looks.
8. I love my Ears. Without Ears, I wouldn't be able to enjoy my Voice, nor my incessant progressive trance. Dancing would be, I'd guess, much more troublesome without Ears, as well.
9. I love my Brain. I have always felt incredibly gifted for my Brain. The fact that I've spent my whole life so far (with no end in sight) at trying to better understand my Brain, I think, pretty much sums this point up nicely.
10. I love my Cock. It's the one toy I always have on hand, and the one toy no one can ever take away from me. It has brought me and many others a great amount of joy, not even counting the Tantra. Need I say more?
It is all too easy for me to forget and take for granted the fact that everything I Experience in life is directly a result of what my physical vehicle (body) can perceive.
And I need to remember this more often.
