"Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own Actions."
01.01.06

Indeed. I've discussed how many people--my selves included not too many years ago--for some reason Expect that Happiness is something that the universe "owes them", or "something that should 'just happen'", etc. I.e., most people do not take Responsibility for Creating their own Happiness.

Happiness is like anything else. If you want it, you have to work for it. This is both a good and a bad thing. It's bad in that it involves the "w" word, and good because anyone can attain it with just a bit of tenacity. Personally, working toward my Happiness has become such a rewarding endeavor on its own that it has become one of my highest single Values in my Life, and it comes highly recommended ;-)
