Josh can do the force field thing, but only a pretty small one enough to shield himself and one maybe two other people if they really invaded each others' personal spaces, so I guess if you want to establish that your character was that other person or something idk.

Also if he was kind of unsure about being in the brotherhood before he is now exceedingly unsure. Exceedingly. If anyone wants to try to persuade him one way or the other he is going to be very confused and therefore very perceptible to persuasion.

Ok, cool :3! Just fyi Josh would have had to totally exhaust his powers to keep the force field up and he was probably unconscious or close to it for a bit afterwords.

really this is more just combating one explosion with another you should probably pick someone else to stand near

Aside from that she's taken over a library that's in fairly good condition, all things considered, and is having it repaired, as well as altering the way the books are sorted to her liking.

1! Amadeus was shocked and appalled to have created a self-preservation style force field. It helped no one but himself and he got some burns and bruises anyway.

2! He thinks that the massive loss of life was total bull, but being that he is an angry young man with no one around to temper his...temper, this upsets him less than he thinks it probably should. STILL he is now severely CONFLICTED so like Josh it would be very easy to sway him either way with regards to Brohood policy.

3! Since his powers (save the newfound force-field production) are pretty much 100% destructive where fixing cities is concerned, he's going to try to save people and structures with ridiculous physics. This is surprisingly helpful.

Lain is PRESUMABLY protected by her group if I should assume otherwise someone just tell me.

Anyway she sets up shop in the main control center/computer area where all the collars and such were being controlled, giving her even more computing power. Hooray!

She is not sure how to feel about all this death; she is trying not to think about it although she built a little gravesite area outside, although it isn't much to look at.

Tai gets pretty seriously injured in the blast, and she's out for twelve hours while her body fixes itself. After that she's going to go and make sure Rush is alive and ask him to come to Xavier's with her, and then with or without him she is going to GO TO XAVIER'S. somehow. without any money.
