A Family Affair.
I just had one of the most incredible weekends with my family. On our way down to Georgia my sister and I decided we should visit our family in Florida the next day. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. It had been over a year since I'd last seen my cousins and it's crazy to see how much they've grown. The weather was beautiful. We spent the first few hours watching the youngest of the two boys play baseball, then we took the canoe out while we waited for the boat to charge. Afterwards we took the boat out to a restaurant and had a nice dinner.
Driving back to Georgia that night was rough, but on the way Grandma was telling my sister and me stories about how all of the women on that side of our family never married their first love. Ironically enough, they were all engaged to different men before finding the one they ended up marrying. That was encouraging! I love those women.
