I'm playing my guitar right now, and the more I play this song, Fireflies (my friend Jason wrote it) the more I love it and want to learn the entire thing, but its so hard. And I want new strings. Jason's got these flat wound strings that are amazing, and your fingers just slide all over the place. It would make my playing much better I think.
I'm surprised with myself though. I usually go in waves of wanting to play all the time and never wanting to play. I've been playing every single day, for hours at a time. I hate that I can't take it with me to NY in May though. Oh well though, I'm definitely bringing it in July...Just have to get a case for it. Maybe I can pay Tommy for his. He never even plays his guitar. I'd like to think I'm getting better...at least maybe a little bit.
I tried to play my electric last night, but the tuning is off and I didn't feel like fixing it. I'm afraid maybe it got dropped in Carolyn's closet or something, and it won't ever hold a tune anymore, but hopefully thats not the case. Either way, I'm off to escape into my magical musical world again.
