OOC;
name: Jessi
age: 21
experience: I have actually rped this character before in another comm and, surprisingly, it was fun as heck. I just wondered if I could try it out with a muse like this~
e-mail: hoffie13@msn.com

IC;
nation: A nation? Psh, he’s above them all.

name: Tony
nickname(s): -
age: 25 (claims he is)
date of birth: July 8
hometown: Roswell, New Mexico; USA
occupation: A hoarder. He has a shady looking thrift store that he claimed for himself after he stumbled upon it abandoned. He didn’t know that’s what it was when he discovered the place full of junk but people kept coming in with more stuff and just giving it to him, so it eventually became one.
residence: The thrift store, it’s called ‘Earth Base’ because that’s what Tony wrote over the sign.
family: -

first impression: ‘Wow, that guy seems really creepy… and angry.’

1. Tony probably hates you. Not just hates you because your looks offend him, no he doesn’t really care about that stuff, it’s more like he hates you because you’re simply you. Unless, you do something for him, then he’ll find you useful and being useful is really good to him. He has a way with latching on to people that he finds helpful and in the exact opposite has an extreme loathing for people he finds very unhelpful and against him.

2. Tony is childish. He may seem mature (and frightening) when you first see him, but he isn’t, at all (though still frightening…) He has the curiosity and mannerisms of a thirteen year old, so he doesn’t notice how bad his actions can be and does as he pleases even if those things aren’t morally right or polite. He acts like a rebellious and selfish child most of the time, complete with temper tantrums and rudeness, but that’s only because he doesn’t know any better, or cares to.

3. Tony has horrible English skills. He’s been wandering around America for awhile now, but his English is very clipped and limited, for reasons he won’t say. But, since he's so good at getting on people’s bad side he’s picked up an impressive slew of colorful words. He seems to know swears better than Basic English and he isn’t afraid to fucking use them, either.

4. Tony has an irrational fear of any authority/government type figure. It isn’t clear why he does, but he goes to great lengths to stay clear of any cops, even if they’re mall cops (he doesn’t see the difference), and especially black cars with tinted windows. He’s convinced that they’re all out to get him and maybe they are; there do seem to be a lot of them that follow the guy around…

5. Tony is 5”3. Do NOT mention it to him. That is unless you don’t mind getting told off and have your life threatened. If you’re looking for an insult to get him right to the core then there it is. He’s very sensitive to it and likes to loudly make it known that even if he’s shorter than you you’re still inferior to him!

6. Tony has a passion for flying. He often watches air shows and enjoys them, even while he complains about the make of the planes and how lame the tricks are. He thinks they can be even better if the pilots would get their plane moving faster. He himself isn’t an actual pilot (he did try to get his flying license once, it didn’t go well…). Despite all of that on a plane he gets nervous. He can’t trust the person in charge and to him the plane is just some crappy flying piece of tin. It’s mainly because he has a fear of crashing as if it happened to him before, not like he’ll speak of such things. Either way, he’d rather be in the air, he absolutely hates being grounded and will grumble about it constantly.

7. Tony is a hoarder. He has an obsession with getting his hands on whatever things he can find and keeping them, especially if it’s an Xbox or DS. This can get him into trouble because he doesn’t understand why people get upset when he takes something of theirs for his own. He likes to have things just to have things and because he has an interest in them as if he’s trying to figure out how they work, because he really has no idea...

8. Tony has a huge family, they’re just a mystery. He remembers them well, but isn’t willing to share where they are or much about them. He has a mother and a father and numerous siblings and isn’t fond of a single one of them. He lived in Roswell by himself then ran from his hometown when the military there felt too close for comfort. He escaped and headed for wherever in the country on a plane, where he discovered the horrors of flying commercial and more so the horrors of bustling cities. Overwhelmed, he left and wandered around on foot, eventually finding himself in Liberty.

9. Tony is obsessed with video games and movies. One of the only things that Tony can easily figure out how to use are electronics. He considers most of them to be ‘primitive’. He likes to spend a lot of time being glued to the screen and easily getting through such games with no problems. He only plays games or watches movies that involve violence and horror because it’s just so fascinating~

10. Tony has a thing for abstract art. He likes geometric shapes that make no sense. He even tries to make some of his own in his small attempts to be an artist, but he’s quite the perfectionist with his work, making it quick to anger him. The circles have to be absolutely perfect and there needs to be a lot of them, in swirly shapes! He hasn’t taken his art skill any farther from that, but he hardly cares to, except he has this great idea of putting his art into crop fields, but someone seems to keep stealing that. It was his first and don’t forget it. Either way, he’s extremely proud of his shape art, so don’t try to put it down, really… don’t.

11. Tony loves eBay. There’s this magical place, called eBay that Tony long ago stumbled upon and is very addicted to it. He finds many things there that he buys with the money people offer him in the thrift store and sells stuff that he has, but only if it isn’t something of his own.

12. Tony doesn’t talk that often. He isn’t a mute though, it’s easy to see that just by pissing him off slightly, but he would rather communicate with gestures, like pointing to things or shooing people away with a wave of his hand. He will go about talking like that unless he absolutely needs to respond, but once you get him talking you’ll want him to stop as soon as he starts; good luck with that. He’s always to the point and has no trouble telling people exactly how he feels without a care to whether they want to hear it or not. It’s really better to just not get him talking at all.

13. Tony likes to keep an eye on the world. He watches shows about other countries, even if it’s just their weather shows. He does that because he likes to make fun of pretty much all of them. All their problems annoy him and amuse him at the same time. Silly people.

14. Tony doesn’t tell details about where he’s from, but there’s one thing for certain he’s NOT going back.

15. All in all Tony is a mystery.

Secret: Tony may seem strange and… alien, but that’s just because well… he is one! He’s that infamous Roswell alien you hear about, only running about disguised as a human. Though, Tony wants to be anything but famous. Especially, since fame means being captured just to be surrounded and gawked at by weird humans, as if he’d let that happen.

writing sample:

The sun was pissing him off. Walking was pissing him off. But, all those noises surrounding him all of a sudden, they were really pissing him off. Wait… Tony actually looked up for the first time in a long while and found that he was in the middle of a city. To be more correct he was literally in the middle of a city.

He had stopped his walk in the center of an intersection.

He just gave a death glare to the first car that went speeding past him with its horn blaring. It was when the next one came way too close to running him over that he dropped the glare and instead rushed over to the sidewalk with a look of distress that he was failing to hide. His escape didn’t make anything better though. Now, he had people to deal with, and lots of them. They were like a pack as they swarmed him the second he reached the pavement with a buzz of more noise asking all kinds of questions wondering if he was okay, what he thought he was doing, where he was headed, blah blah blah... Tony scowled at each one of them. Humans sure liked their problems, worrying, and yelling all in each other’s faces. Why did they direct that at him as well?! Oh, yeah because he currently was one. He should probably be acting like them.

The people surrounding him had gone silent, as if it was his turn to reply to the mass amounts of words. Tony glanced to each one of them with piercing red eyes and muttered something under his breath. They didn’t catch any of it though, making one of them ask ‘what was that?’

“Fucking-“he raised his voice to more of a growl and got louder, “fuck!”

Thinking that was enough to get his feelings across he began to walk forward, happy that the people were easy to get out of his way now. He carried on walking as if he had just come out on top of the entire world and gained a victory over it. But, his little smirk and bravado were soon to disappear when he caught sight of a black car traveling down the road towards him. He turned on his heel and quickly walked back in the opposite direction, shoving through the stunned crowd he’d just left behind. No, he didn’t have a look of fear… of course not. It was more of a look that said...

‘I’d just rather be watching one of those movies where the humans get chased by the aliens instead...’
