Pumpkin Crunch Anyone?

Hah... Finally, a break from school. I seriously needed this. Even if I end up doing  a good chunk of schoolwork anyway, it's nice to be able to work at my own pace. I started working on that fanfiction that's been taunting me. I have a feeling it's going to take me a while to finish. I've already had to research plenty of random things that may or may not benefit me in life.
I spelled recipe wrong in the cut and don't know how to fix it OTL oh well
Let's just say I ended up reading a few Hungarian travel guides. Why you ask? Well, in the midst of writing a scene I had to stop and ask myself if Elizaveta really preferred coffee in the mornings. Random, I know. It turns out a majority of Hungarian people enjoy a small cup of strong espresso in the mornings. They prefer coffee over tea too. Now in my own head canon Elizaveta loves espresso.
Yea, this is going to take a while.
I'm in the process of researching how Germans celebrate Christmas, and apparently they're pretty hardcore about it.
Anywho, I have a recipe (that I have tasted but not baked myself yet) for pumpkin crunch. It's really tasty, and is something good to make over the holidays. It's really sweet though. :)
here it is if you'd like the recipe :D

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 (15oz) can of pumpkin
1 (14oz) can of sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional) Pecans work well
1/2 cup of butter
---> Preheat oven to 350
1. Grease a 9x13 in pan
2. Combine the pumpkin, sweet condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, salt, and sugar together in a bowl. Mix well.
3. Pour the mixture into the pan and smooth it out.
4. Sprinkle the cake mix over the mixture.
5. Top with the nuts, then drizzle the butter (melted) over it.
Bake in the oven at 350 for about 50-55 minutes.
:)

I have a friend who's planning to go to Europe for this student ambassador thing. Tomorrow I plan on helping her make Christmas ornaments in my garage to help her raise money. I honestly don't know how well these will turn out >.<, but she really wants to go to England. I guess that's what friends do right. xD
Eh, well that's about all I've got.
Have a good Thanksgiving everyone!

rambles, recipe
