The dreaded Rivalry
The Yankees are out, and its all I hear about at work being oh-so-close to Beantown. Y'know, i'm not even a baseball fan, but for some reason having to hear about this stupid rivalry makes my blood boil. Why is there even a valid rivalry between these two teams anymore? I could understand back in the beginning when trading the Babe was still recent and before the Yankees won a bajillion rings.. but now? How about the Red Sox actually win at least half of the amount of rings the Yankees have first before Boston and their fans start thinkin' their shit dont stink.. Hell, at this point it should be a Red Sox/Cubs rivalry if we're talking winning records (or lack thereof). Yankees left these chumps behind years ago.
