Below is a poem I just wrote dedicated to one of the best friends I could ever have had in my life.
~Life Comes To An End~
I remember when you were a baby;
I was five years old,
The second I saw you, I fell in love.
We grew up together, playing everyday,
I called you Cheif Nikki;
You always were "the boss".
Sometimes you were such a little bitch,
But I loved you then and always will.
You always protected me;
You were always there when I cried,
You never left my side.
But today is a sad day
Because you had to leave me today.
You were such a great dog,
One of the best dogs around.
I love you so much Nikki.
I know now that you're up in heaven,
Telling everyone who's the boss.
You will remain in my heart, forever and always.
Rest in peace my baby girl, I love you!
