i was suppose to get my car back today, i just got a call saying it wont be ready until tomorrow =/ bummmerrr.
the makeup artist i work with is having her baby on nov 16th, so i wont have much work with her obviously.
i am with that agency and lots of people have my number, but im still going to get a part time job just to have a promising steady flow of money so im not shitting my pants or something hahah. im going to try to make it local too cause all of the commuting and stuff took a bit of a toll on me this year, so it'll be nice to work locally for a little while, then go into the city when i need to for work. im going to apply at sephora and stuff along the lines of that cause i figure i can get a discount on makeup which is always good (being im a makeup artist and all...) and hand out my buisness cards and build clientel that way and make buisness even outside of there. we shall seeeee what happens...my last day of work with Adrienne is on the 30th, then she takes leave to have her baby.
im a little bit stressed money wise, but i'm sure everything will work out and i'll be okay.
i hope to work fashion week this upcoming season!!
the celebrity makeup artist i worked with at my cousins wedding, tina turnbow, is sending me a whole bunch of free makeup..im so excited and thankful. im going to send her an email thanking her and letting her know i am available and stuff so hopefully i can get work with that. she was busy before with the emmys and craappp.
i feel like i have cabin fever being stuck without a car, especially when i want to go apply for jobs! grrr.
