is the reason that this movement will never die.
from an indiginous worker in latin american, to a migrant worker on an grape orchard in long island, a single mother getting paid $7.25 an hour in harlem, a black man in jail for 20 years because of a marijuana crime, a chinese child with no fingers from working in a factory all day for .20 an hour, for the 33% of our nation that gets 2.6% of the wealth... these are the people that we fight for. taking time to look at the blood soaked pile of money that we all sit on... personally, i think thats love.

The only reason that movements exist is that the goverment gives us the illusion of freedom. In all seriousness, how could the most powerful country in the world NOT enslave everyone in about a week? They can. John Lennon realized this, Hell, even Andrew Jackson did. People think theyre so free-thinking and revolutionary, yet theyre still just average everyday shmoes. Viva Freedom.

i do agree.... welcome to the American dream... keyword "dream." thats why its so hard to get anyone involved in any movement here- because it seems alright here (in any christian white males case anyway), but its what you dont see that speaks for itself.... over 100,000 Iraqi civilians dead (the Lancet). Where do you hear that? not on fox news. the thing is- everyone here is in a sense enslaved- they are denied the knowledge to make responsible democratic decisions. we are all everyday average smoes- but together we are the people, and thus we are the country and have the power to take it back if we open our eyes. we are all average every day smoes - and thats whats important.

how many of those iraqi's have been killed for due reason, i.e. killing other iraqi's and americans, Iraqi extremists are still considered civilians, they are not in a recognized military. You can beleive anything/one unless you are there (left and right media are equally as guilty of lying, its just who you wish to beleive more), we should care about unemployment HERE, we should care about christainization HERE, we should care about drugs being shipped HERE, jobs being shipped out of here, who cares about Iraq when we're slaves ourselves. Hell, gay people cant even get married.

P.S. Miss you lots

haha... i agree with you about worrying about our home, and i do. However i feel like we are blind to many of the attrocities are being done in our countries name - because they are over seas. your talking about our jobs being exported- thats a great example... what are the effects of our jobs being exported? where are the jobs going? why? what are the conditions of labor over seas? i mean it sucks for the people in our country that we are losing important manufacturing jobs ect... but where they are going is worse- people get paid a dollar a day, union leaders are killed (coca cola, levi's jeans... and my personal favorites the bananna massacres in guatamala and columbia). so in the end they are all interrelated- and its important to keep in mind the whole picture because we are indeed an economic and political empire and that does have effects on us that suck- but suck worse for everyone else. and its not that i dont care about the people in our country- because i do- but i fight to expose the things that perhaps we dont see and ( ... )
