Spicy Squid "Kimchi"
This is spicy squid. I got it at the Korean store when I went to purchase this one kimchi that I love and don't know what is in it. I just know I love it and purchase it there once in a while. In the same cooler with all the kimchi was this stuff. I asked "What is this?" and she responded "squid". I thought to myself "Ummm, kimchi that is squid? This sounds and looks kind of gross, I bet it is really good"! I got it home and tried it. You know what, I love the stuff! It is like that dried squid but it is spicy with a salty/sweet flavor to it. You can also taste the sesame oil used in making it. If you ever see this in a Korean grocery (in the fresh section not in the dried section because this is not dry) pick some up and try it. You will be pleasantly surprised.
