New Fic: Technicolor Dreaming

May 05, 2005 18:42

Didn't think I could finish this one up this week, but here it is (I'm trying to publish at least once a week these days to get through my backlog of unfinished fics!). This one is a Justin POV set before and during 201. No spoilers :)

Your life went from screaming Technicolor to black and white.

Brillant. Absolutely lovely and heart rending at the same time. Thanks for this, Ethan!

Thanks so much, Judi! I'd had this fic kicking around my head for months now, and I was finally able to finish up. A little melancholy, but hopefully provides a nice balance to the next fic I'm working on - the second part to my new "sex scenes" series ;)

Really? It always freaks me out knowing that people are waiting for a fic from me lol

Well, for me, there's two kinds of pressure - self-imposed and *deadline* imposed. Self-imposed I can handle pretty good (i.e. once a week posting and trying to get gapfillers done before the next episode airs - no one probably cares, but *I* do, so I try and do it! lol!). Deadline imposed... oh geez, I don't do well with that at all. Which is why I haven't participated in the cool little challenges like Snowin and Blowin and all that. I wish I could, but holy crap the pressure of a deadline freaks me out!! lol!!! I have this feeling it would be like guaranteeing writer's block or something! lol!

But knowing that someone is waiting to read something... I dunno, it makes me feel good :) Of course, it's also no promise that I'll get it done any sooner! lol! That's the beauty of no deadline ;) But I'll definitely try :D

It's funny, I'm exactly the opposite. I still have two series that I'm nowhere near completing and knowing that folks want to finish them makes it harder, but having a deadline doesn't bother me at all LOL I wish I could be more like you, cos I could avoid deadline situations and also finish my series ;)
