Massachusetts High School Drama Festival:
So first off, I am very super proud of our drama club, i love them all ((except Dan)). We unfortunatly got disqualified. Okay I will tell you everything starting with the begining of the day ((at 6:45))...here it goes:

I woke up at 6 got dressed packed my lunch, the whole nine yards, so my father drove me at 6:32ish, we went to Dunk's to get myself a coffee and a muffin, and then we went to the BR parking lot, and since my dad dropped me off and no one opened the door, I went to Cailin's car and i was number three...by 6:55 13 people were in Mrs. Dyke's mini van, like two short of the whole drama club including Mrs. Dyke. Then Cailin showed everyone "the plan"...she made a rough sketch of a map of Brockton High, she marked all the hot boys with "X's" on the map, then she had another picture of Me, Cailin, and a very red haired Emily that said "We are Here", yeah it was hil-ar-i-ous. Well pretty much the plan was how we would get hot drama boys, and here is a direct quote from the fabulous Cailin "We have to go to the boys, they will not come to us"...lmao! So then we went onto the bus at 7:15ish. We arrived at Brockton High first. Then we went to our designated room, put all our stuff in them, and then went back to the loby to greet other groups. And we were the first one to buy our t-shirts. Then when all the schools were there, we went to our room then greeted all the other schools, I liked Hingham and Massachusetts Academy of Math and Sceinces...they were the nicest, and another school I am not sure of. Then off to the Auditorium!
Play One: Paradise Lost; This play was the weirdest and most dramatic beautiful play, it was sensational. It was about the graden of Edan and stuff, and they did interpertive dance and they rocked!
Play Two: Tried and True and Telemarketing; This play was about the repetiveness of life and the work place...it was very funny. Direct quote, "You too can have a slice of the sun for $11.95"...it was very fabulous.
Play Three: The Watchers; WOW! WOW! WOW! and MORE WOW! this was my favorite play, it was written by a student in the play so it was a play full of characters that teens can relate to...all I gotta say is Zoloft Commercails will never be the same...
Play Four: Check Please; Um, there was really one god part, with a black girl who was very funny...oterwise it wasnt the best...
Play Five: Oh! What a Tangled Web; This was a good play. It was like a fifties sitcom...with evil and innocennse with day to day life issues. The set was the best part. It was beautiful. They were amazing.
Play Six: Black Comedy; This was the last play I saw. It was really good. At the beginging it was pitch black, and that represented light, and when the lights when on, the characters in the play were "in the dark" and they were really really great. They had a great set, and they had great british accents the whole way through.
Play Seven: God's Favorite; Don't know, was getting ready to go on stage.
Play Eight: Go Ask Alice; US! Yeah, I got to wear a head set and I got to like have power. I had the postion in which if I messed up the whole cast was screwed. Fortunatly I didn't. I got to say "GO" and I got to say "That's a wrap" other then that, me and Andrea talked on the head set about the sexual orientation of the males in our cast...funny stuff that got to be heard by the sound manager of Brockton and the Backstage crew for Brockton...I bet they enjoyed us talking. Occasionally Andrea and my conversation would be interupted by the sound guy who in fact was muy caliente...so i didnt mind. Well the actors and actresses in our play did a million times better then normal, but ((but but but)) we went over the time limit by two minutes, two flipping minutes. We got all upset, we were teary eyed and It was very sad...But then we went to dinner in the cafe, and had some Cape Cod Cafe Pizza and then we went off to the DANCE!

DANCE:I hung out with Carrie, Laura, Cailin, Stephanie, Kristin, Courtney and Jen...IT WAS SOOO WICKED AWESOME! I first danced with Pepsi Boy, ((he was a pepsi machine in his play)) then with Orange Boy...((he was wearing orange, and from Mass Academy. Then I danced with Hot boy, theres really no other way to describe him, I think his name was Nick, I couldn't really hear, but he was from Hingham, but then...then his friend came...Mister Boston...OMG! Thats a decent looking boy right there. He was so super sweet. We talked for the whole dance, he was from Hingham. He was such a sweetie I wanted to keep talking to him. He was also one of the hottest boys I have ever met...he was great! And a great dancer...did I mention he was hot, lol...
Then the judges decisions, our club got two individual awards...Laura got one for her role as Alice and Jen got one for her role as Chris in the play. yeah, so it was great...but we couldn't be placed ((DQed remeber?)) and Check Please (Matignon High), Paradise Lost (Wintrop), and The Watchers (Malden) get to go on to Semi Finals in Boston!

Well the ride back I tried to rest. Then we went to the school enterence and Mrs. Blocker opens the door and the alarm goes off...two seconds later the police are there and pissed off. She had to explain nobody was breaking in, while we were taking pictures in front of the car. And then somebody took out left over pizzas and we ate them on the desk outside in the cold and that was really fun...I love them all!

OOO and I want to remind everyone Emily is my twin and a half...love you all BR DRAMA CLUB 05!!!! Tired....((got home at 10:30, 14 hours straight with drama club) -Hailz-
