upon dining at the splendid marathon grill (on the square...not quite) this afternoon with kate,
i devised a weekly plan that should make my life feel much more fulfilling
rather than the slump-cycle i've been in as of late, feeling sorry for myself.
during the week, i plan on:
going to work
coming home from work, getting ready to work out
WORK OUT like what
(if no workout, then NAP)
eat dinner
shower
then do something productive and/or relaxing until bedtime
(this excludes any 'sitting online' activity that ultimately ends up with me getting annoyed/upset anyways)
*also, if one decides he/she would like to see me/hang out/do something fun after my workday, regular schedule-changes, of course, shall be made :)
and then once the weekend arrives, figure that stuff out then.
and if i don't end up having super awesome plans,
then to just be thankful for having a couple days off to continue to better myself.
this is extremely selfish-sounding, but i need to kick the 'caring-about-myself' quality up a couple notches.
i need to stop worrying about the future,
stop being sad/dissatisfied with the present,
stop expecting anything out of anyone in my life,
and be grateful for what i have and what i am capable of.
bottom line.
good pep talk.
let's get this week started.
