Sheriff I have posted Richard's bail and hope he can be released as soon as possible. I will take full responsibility for him and he will be living at the Church. An incident like the last will not occur again.
Also Sheriff if you are to try to throw Richard in jail again please do talk to witnesses, I have heard a few people talking about the rashness of your actions. After all you took the word of a girl without even asking me. As a priest I'd have thought you'd be able to trust me enough to ask what had happened. Also people do not take kindly to the idea that the sheriff may imprison them without a trial.
I am sure I do not need to point out how dangerous a bias is, if you have a personal problem with Richard please keep it that way. We need professionalism here. The Sheriff has to be the one who follows the law to the letter right? At least when she is on duty.
