Object Recoloring - New Frontiers!
Even though I've been playing for years, I had never embarked on object recoloring until now. Partly because my old computer couldn't handle SimPE, partly because I was embarrassingly afraid of SimPE (which is silly, because it's not that difficult at all). It's pretty different from doing hairs and clothes though.
I think my attempt going well so far! On the far left is my first try at retexturing (pretty bad) and the other two are, for the most part, the same recolor except I increased the image size, which improved the texture dramatically.
I just don't know what's going on with the front where it's stripey. I'm guessing it's just the mesh and I don't know how to fix it. If it weren't for that, I'd continue with recoloring this particular object. But I'm just happy to be learning something new!
